The short version.

“Cowork Free” (we, us) is operated by Ikaroa, a company based in Dubai. By using the site or the app you agree to these terms.

• Browse the directory, the map, and venue pages. No account required.
• Leave reviews, tips, and laptop-friendliness signals on venue pages. Keep them honest and first-person.
• Claim a venue you own or operate and manage its listing through the vendor dashboard.
• Link to us. Embed our listings on your own site with attribution.

• Scrape the directory at scale. If you want bulk access, email us and we’ll talk API.
• Post reviews for venues you don’t visit, reviews traded for favours, or reviews on behalf of the venue owner pretending to be a customer.
• Claim a venue you don’t own. Claims are verified.
• Upload content you don’t have the rights to, or content that defames people or breaks the law where you are or where the venue is.
• Reverse-engineer the app, bypass rate limits, or interfere with other visitors’ use of the service.

You keep ownership of your reviews and photos. By posting, you give us a non-exclusive licence to display them on Cowork Free (website, app, embeds, and newsletters). You can ask us to remove anything you’ve posted, email us and we’ll pull it within 7 days.

Baseline listing data (name, address, hours, photos) is pulled from public sources and refined with community input. We try hard to keep it accurate and we fix mistakes fast, but we don’t guarantee every detail. Always check the venue’s own channels before you travel far.

Venues that claim their listing can edit it directly. Claimed listings are marked verified.

Plus and Pro tiers are billed month-to-month via Stripe. Cancel any time, your listing reverts to the Free tier at the end of the paid period. No refunds for partial months. See /pricing for what each tier includes.

We aim for high uptime but we don’t promise 100%. If the site is down or a feature breaks, we’ll fix it as fast as we can. No liability for lost productivity, missed deadlines, or a cold latte because the map was slow.

The service is provided as-is. To the maximum extent allowed by law, our total liability for anything that goes wrong is capped at what you’ve paid us in the last 12 months. If you’ve never paid us, that’s zero.

We may update these terms. If the change is material (e.g. new fees, new restrictions), we’ll show a banner on the homepage for at least a week before it takes effect.

You can stop using Cowork Free any time, there’s nothing to cancel unless you have a paid listing. We can suspend or close an account if it’s clearly breaking these terms, after a chance to fix whatever’s wrong.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. If we end up in a dispute, we’ll try to sort it over email first.
