Short and honest.

We don’t track you, we don’t sell anything, and your location never leaves your device.

• Venue feedback and reviews you post. If you rate a venue, leave a tip, or suggest an edit, we store what you wrote and the time you wrote it. If you give us an email with a claim or suggestion, we keep that so we can reply.
• Aggregate traffic logs.Our hosting provider keeps standard web access logs (IP, user agent, the page requested) for a short window for abuse protection. We don’t pool these into any profile of you.
• A cookie for rate-limiting.When you submit feedback on a venue, we set a short-lived cookie to stop the same browser from spamming the same listing. It’s HttpOnly and only works on coworkfree.com.

• Your name, unless you give it to us in a review or claim.
• Any advertising identifiers.
• Your contacts, photos, microphone, or camera.
• Your precise location. The mobile app asks for it, but only to sort the list on your device. It never reaches our servers.

The Cowork Free mobile app asks iOS and Android for your foreground location once. We use it to sort the venue list by distance from where you are right now. That’s it. The coordinates stay on your phone. If you deny the permission, the list falls back to Lisbon and everything else still works.

We use a small number of vendors to run the service. None of them get data we haven’t already collected, and none of them sell it on:

• Supabase hosts our database.
• Vercel hosts the website and APIs.
• Google Places provides the venue photos and ratings we display. Opening a venue page triggers a signed request to Google for the photo; Google sees our server’s IP, not yours.
• Stripe, if and when you buy a paid listing. Stripe handles the card data directly; we only see whether the payment succeeded.

Reviews and venue feedback stay as long as the listing does. If you want yours deleted, email us (below) with enough detail to find it and we’ll remove it within 7 days. Access logs roll off in under 30 days.

If you’re in the UK or EU, you have the right to ask for a copy of what we hold on you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. If you’re in California, same. Just email us and we’ll sort it out without making you fill in a form.

If we change anything material, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. If it’s a big change, we’ll flag it on the homepage for a week.
